Become a host family

What does it mean?

We are looking for host families for our sweet labradoodles! As a host family you give our dogs the attention and love they deserve. 

That is why we need host families who want to raise our dogs with the right intentions.

The dog will eventually become your own dog and will stay in your family all its life, except for the periods when she has her litters

Why become a host family?

  • As a host family, you get priority and shorter waiting times when getting a Labradoodle puppy.
  • You offer a loving home to a dog that is part of a responsible breeding program.
  • Your doodle is free, but she will remain the property of McSweeney's Doodles until she has had her last litter.

Important to know

Of course, this also includes some practical things.

  • The host family preferably lives in the southeast of the Netherlands, other locations are also possible if you are willing to travel further.
  • The Doodle will occasionally stay with us for breeding related activities.
  • The normal costs, such as food and good vet care, are for the account of the host family, as if the dog were your own dog. If there are costs associated with breeding, we will of course pay for them.
  • Our dogs never get more than 3 litters, depending on the situation this can sometimes be less. When your labradoodle is allowed to retire, ownership will also be transferred to the owners.

How do I become a host family?

  1. Fill in the registration form for host families with your personal details and motivation.

  2. We will contact you for a personal meeting and introduction.

  3. We select host families based on suitability and match with our values and goals.

  4. If you are selected, we will sign a host family agreement in which all agreements and responsibilities are re-established.
